Lawrence F. DiGiovanna has been in private practice since his admission to the New York State Bar in February, 1977. Since 1981, he has been the principal attorney of his own firm, Law Offices of Lawrence F. DiGiovanna. During that time, Mr. DiGiovanna's practice has focused intense concentration in the area of cooperative and condominium law representing developers before the Investment Protection Bureau of the New York State Attorney General, and as General Counsel to cooperative apartment corporations and condominium associations. His practice includes litigation related to real estate and cooperative and condominium law issues.

Mr. DiGiovanna is a frequent lecturer on the topic of real estate and cooperative and condominium law to bar associations for mandatory continuing legal education, realtor groups and the general public. He also lectures to bar groups on professional ethics and disciplinary issues.

He is the Past President of the 2000 member Brooklyn Bar Association and Vice President of its separate pro bono services organization, the Volunteer Lawyers Project. He also chairs the Association's Real Property Section and Cooperative and Condominium Law Committee. In 2002, Mr. DiGiovanna was appointed by the Appellate Division to a four year term as the Chairman of the New York State Grievance Committee with disciplinary jurisdiction over Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island attorneys.
